Our OM1 (62.5/125) optic fibre cables are perfect if you require fast data transfer speeds or to connect devices over long distances. They are often used in data centres, telecommunication networks or to connect servers together.OM1 cables are a specific type of fibre optic cable, designed for use in high-bandwidth applications, best for legacy networks at up to 300m @ 1Gbps. OM1 are duplex, meaning they allow two-way data transmission through the two fibres, one for transmitting and one for receiving. They are also multi-mode, meaning they have a larger core for multiple light paths.
